Questions we get about web design
Do you build in WordPress or something else?
We pick the tool to fit the job, not the other way round. WordPress suits most businesses that want to update the site themselves, but if the brief calls for something more specific we build in clean code or a framework that actually solves the problem. You never end up stuck on a platform that doesn't fit.
What does a new website cost?
It depends on scope — a tight presentation site and a site with booking, logins or integrations are different projects. We give a fixed quote based on what you actually need, so you know the price before we start. No open-ended hourly billing that drifts.
How long does it take?
A focused site usually takes a few weeks from kick-off to launch; larger projects with more functionality take longer. What sets the pace most is how quickly we get content and decisions from your side — we keep a clear plan so nothing stalls in ambiguity.
Can I update the site myself afterwards?
Yes. We build it so you can change text, images and pages without risking that something breaks, and we walk you through it at handover. If you'd rather not think about it, we handle ongoing updates and maintenance for you.
Do I own the site and the code?
You own everything — the domain, the accounts, the content and the code. Nothing is locked to us and you're never dependent on us to move or keep running your site. That's a principle, not an add-on.
Do you handle copy and images too?
We can write, edit and structure the copy so it reads well and works for search, and help with imagery and visual direction. If you already have material we build on it — the goal is a site that sounds like your business, not like a template.
